E-Man has recently turned 3. It wasn’t until the last few months that he would sit through a whole book. This was quite different from Honey Girl who would sit through book after book at 6 months old. I wasn’t sure how to handle this at first. There was no making him sit still. We searched far and wide. I so badly wanted him to love books as much as I do but didn’t know how to make that happen. We LOVE Dr. Seuss in our house! We love the rhymes, the silliness, and the oddness of it all. We started collecting books when we first learned I was expecting with our Honey-girl. Now, at age 6 she shares my love for the tongue twisting fun that each story brings. Along with all the words that make a perfect amount of no sense at all.
Today, on March 2nd, the country celebrates the delightful stories Dr. Seuss has left us. What other way can you celebrate this great author than to read! And another great reason to bring you one of our favorite things… DR. SEUSS BOOKS!
Which is why today has been dubbed National Read Across America Day.
So I asked Honey Girl what her favorite Dr. Seuss book was and this is what she had to say…
I do love to paint with my littles BUT lets face it, painting with a two year old isn’t exactly the most stress or mess free thing in the world. So when a friend recommended these I just had to try them out.
